The Live Big Like Jack Memorial Scholarship Fund was created to carry that standard forward.

We are especially proud to recognize students who are choosing to pursue careers in the skilled trades. Their decision reflects not only determination and practicality, but also a deep understanding of the value of hard work, craftsmanship, and service to their communities. These students are builders, problem-solvers, and future leaders who will help sustain and strengthen the backbone of our workforce.

This scholarship is also deeply meaningful as we remember Jack, who had planned to pursue his passion as a diesel mechanic. Jack embodied the very qualities this scholarship represents — dedication, grit, and a willingness to work with his hands and heart. Though he left this world far too soon, his spirit continues to inspire us to support students who follow a similar path and lead lives of purpose and impact.

But this fund was never meant to be a one-year tribute.
